Never-Ending Cycle – a poem about……
Saw a vision of you once again standing before me with a sickened smile inducing torment with equal pain impossible to ignore you or run away.
Still remaining your unwilling slave cannot drown out your bitter signal your actions still dictate how I behave even though it was three decades past.
Can I ever be free from you? How much longer must I suffer? Vile memories keep seeping through, rendering me so worthless.
Counting the scars on my skin these ugly jagged reminders I promise to never let you win so repeats the never-ending cycle.
